I would like to wish all Mothers a happy Mothers Day and share an excerpt from Proverbs 31:25-31
She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. She carefully watches everything in her household and suffers nothing from laziness.
Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her: “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!”
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised. Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.
I have been blessed in my life to have a mother who has a strong relationship with God. My mother and father gave their lives to Jesus Christ shortly after I was born. I remember from an early age waking up to hear my mother already praying. I cannot overstate her influence in my life and what her example as a Christian has meant for me.
I am blessed to have as my wife and the mother of my three children a Godly woman. A woman who prays for her children and who teaches them the things of God. I am confident in my children's future because the foundation has been laid in Christ.
Don't just be a good mother, be the best mother; be a Christian mother. Have a relationship with God and let it guide your relationship with your children.
